Australian government has formulated the provision of 4 points tested streams for Australia Permanent Residency – ‘Skilled Independent Visa’ (subclass 189), ‘Skilled Nominated Visa’ (subclass 190), ‘Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa’ (subclass 491) for the skilled workers outside Australia for candidates without any job offer or sponsorship from an Australian employer.
- Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189) – This visa lets skilled workers with considerable educational, professional and English language abilities to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.
- Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190) – This visa lets nominated skilled workers with considerable educational, professional and English language abilities to live and work in Australia.
- Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (subclass 491) – This is a provisional visa for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia.

After checking the eligibility, it is required to submit the Expression Of Interest (EOI) with the required details.
Once the profile with the required score gets assessed, the candidate has to wait to receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA). It is then required to gather all the appropriate documents.
